Doce artistas en el Museo del Prado
Prado Museum Foundation invited 12 women artists to participate on the exhibition ,Doce artistas en el Museo del Prado, shows the 24 artpieces created by women artists, all of which are essential in contemporary creation, and from different generations and styles: Isabel Baquedano, Carmen Calvo, Naia del Castillo, Cristina García Rodero, Cristina Iglesias, Carmen Laffón, Ouka Leele, Eva Lootz, Blanca Muñoz, Isabel Quintanilla, Soledad Sevilla y Susana Solano.
Each one has work on a silkscreen, photography or lithography taking as inspiration Prado Museum.
The goal was to create a number of pieces to establish a dialogue between the Arts of past and the present, works that would show to the audience the large presence of the old masters in the production of contemporary artists..
